| Case Study: Carbon Forum America (service launch)
Koelnmesse is a multinational organizer of tradeshows based in Cologne, Germany. In 2007, Koelnmesse approached Evo to assist them with launching their first-ever tradeshow organized in the U.S. - Carbon Forum America. The show was held in San Francisco, Moscone Center. Carbon Forum America (CFA) is the first industry trade show and conference for the emerginc CO2 U.S. market. CFA is a sister event of CARBON EXPO in Cologne, Germany and CARBON FORUM Asia in Singapore and is jointly organized by Koelnmesse Inc. and the International Emissions Trading Association (IETA). As part of this new service launch, Evo evolved an overall strategic plan for the tradeshow event that makes CFA unique to the U.S. while keeping it consistent with the branding and core messaging of the rest of the international tradeshows. With this plan, Evo executed several design and collateral materials including developing the CFA website, designing and executing several email blasts to different target audiences, designing several direct mail pieces, and creating the show book for the tradeshow. The results of the tradeshow is phenomenal - CFA attracted more than the planned number of exhibitors; and nearly doubled the number of expected attendees. Media coverage and response to the show is very favourable. Presently, Evo is working with Koelnmesse to launch Carbon Forum America 2009. |
